The Welsh Government is funding a third vehicle for the T7 cross-Severn bus service, to address reliability problems caused by severe traffic congestion in Bristol.
The Chepstow-Bristol service, branded variously as TrawsHafren or TrawsCymru, was launched in June 2020 after the previous commercial service’s withdrawal. Two vehicles maintained the hourly clockface timetable while the Covid-19 pandemic depressed road traffic volumes.
