Stagecoach London wrapped up to nine of its buses — one at each garage — in lime green to mark the United Nations’ World Environment Day on 5 June.
These included three Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMCs, two New Routemasters and an Enviro200 MMC single-decker.
Staged annually since 1972, World Environment Day encourages communities to take such action as neighbourhood cleanups, replanting forests and combating wildlife crime. This year’s theme, chosen by host country Canada, is Connecting People to Nature.
