The only service into the historic 19th century Royal William Yard in Plymouth was withdrawn after 27 May following funding cuts. Plymouth Citybus service 34A ceases, a half-hourly short working of service 34, linked the city centre with the Royal William Yard, the former main victualling depot for the Royal Navy, a Grade I and Grade II listed building completed in 1835 and now being redeveloped with apartments, offices and restaurants.
Operating it on the second last day was ex-Go-Ahead London Alexander Dennis Mini Pointer Dart 250 (LX05 EYP), pictured late on the Friday afternoon passing through the granite arched gateway, which is topped by a statue of King William IV.
