Founded: March 1998 by David Reeves and Gerald Henderson, colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service, with four secondhand minibuses on council contracts. Built new Adderley Green depot and moved out of Longton bus station March 2004. Crewe depot opened 2005. Acquired Willenhall-based Choice Travel April 2005.

Henderson died suddenly 2006. Julian Peddle joined later as minority partner and facilitated expansion of Choice, which was rebranded Midland in 2009.

Staffordshire business (30 buses, 46 routes) sold to Arriva Midlands’ Wardle Transport 2011, with use of Adderley Green premises. D&G acquires South Lancs Travel shortly after. Midland sold 2012 to Arriva Midlands.

Purchased routes and nine buses of BakerBus, Biddulph January 2015 and opened new depot at Cinderhills, Longton. South Lancs Transport sold to Rotala March 2015. D&G purchased Wardle Transport from Arriva Midlands May 2015, with 19 buses, three of them double-deck. Head office and Stoke operations retu…
