Founded: 1984 when Glyn Jones, latterly with Circle Line of Gloucester, formed Ebley Coach Services, based in Nympsfield. Relocated to former Red & White depot at Kimmins Mill, then to Ebley Mill and finally in 2001 to Nailsworth.

Ebley Bus formed 2002 when bus operations separated and Robert Arkell, former commercial manager at Stagecoach West, joined. Won several tendered service contracts 2004. Cotswold Green, owned jointly by Jones and Arkell, took over bus operations from Ebley Bus in 2006, granted own operator licence 2007 and purchased its first new bus, MAN 12.240/Plaxton Centro WX59 BWB in 2009.

Ebley Coaches owns current premises, which Cotswold Green pays to use.

Where does it operate?: Cotswold Green operates Stroud local services 8/A/B, Stroud-Cirencester 54/A/X54, Stroud-Wooton under Edge 4) and occasional services 228, 229, 230 and 231 linking Stroud with Miserden, Whiteway, Ruscombe and Rodborough. Four school services are registered.
