The editor’s sideways view of the bus scene

Look upwards and your curiosity may be rewarded by sightings of interesting objects above normal eye level. That certainly applies in parts of Cardiff, where Neil Taylor had the forethought also to go armed with his camera. The 1930s art deco façade of the former Queens & Royal Garage in Westgate Street — a facility once shared by the two hotels of those names — includes stylised representations of the prewar transport used by well-heeled visitors.
