Eastern Bus Enthusiasts staged a spectator road run on 11 October to take the place of the annual Fenland Running Day in May, which was cancelled because of the pandemic.
Among its participating vehicles was former Whippet Coaches H303 CAV, a Northern Countiesbodied Volvo Citybus new in September 1990. It was photographed — from the elevation of a tall pole — while crossing the bridge over the River Ouse linking Godmanchester and Huntingdon, just as it did many times in its working life.
