Deprived since 1972 of trolleybuses to experience at home, United Kingdom enthusiasts of these electric vehicles have had to travel abroad. And this typically high quality publication from Trolleybooks includes colour photographs taken by Michael Russell and Peter Haseldine at various locations around the world. It is a bilingual (English and Italian) tribute to the large number of trolleybuses — filobus in Italian — that Italy’s manufacturers supplied to export markets, particularly in the 1950s and 1960s.
