As bus destination displays go, they don’t come much less inviting than this one that Mark Worley encountered in the alpine town of Engelberg in central Switzerland.

Full marks to the operator of the Mercedes- Benz Citaro parked at the foot of the cable car line up Mount Titlis for its brutal honesty and for spelling out the message in at least one of the non-native languages understood by visitors, but it might be nice to know where it would go if it was in service.

Mind you, as chair of the North West Surrey Bus Users Group, Mark is used to buses going nowhere much nearer home, having wrestled with the recent rounds of service reductions following Abellio’s retreat from much of that area.
