The prospect of a journey through parts of the Blazefield empire had appealed for some time. A plan was put together based around a Skipton start and finish, with a couple of nights in Malton. A date was set, and we duly found ourselves in Skipton bus station shortly after 08:00 on Thursday, August 24 with time to observe some early morning arrivals prior to boarding our first bus.

A Kirkby Lonsdale Coach Hire Volvo B8RLE/MCV eVoRa arrives in from Settle.
