In response to Jim Dunning’s comments (You Write, June) regarding rail being subsidised, resulting in buses losing out, and as someone who is affected by Stagecoach’s withdrawal from the Edinburgh-South Queensferry route, I make the following comments now that Lothian Country Buses operates the service, albeit in a different form.
