Medway Towns celebration

Following the success of its 2016 event to mark the end of step-entrance bus operation, Nu- Venture Coaches held a rally in

Rochester on 30 December to celebrate 20 years of operating in the Medway Towns. Participating vehicles included former Arriva Southern Counties 5928 (P928 MKL), preserved in a halfand- half livery that celebrated the centenary of Maidstone & District in 2011. It operated a feeder journey from Maidstone.

Also attracting much attention was Go-coach Hire’s AEC Swift from Malta, heavily rebuilt on the island after its first life as London Transport SMS274, a Park Royalbodied vehicle new at Elmers End garage as a dualdoor standee vehicle. Now registered WXG 316, it was EBY 623 in Malta.
