Go Devon Bus gets going

Go South West Plymouth Citybus has further expanded with a new Go Devon Bus brand for Devon County Council contracts surrendered by Stagecoach South West (Buses last month) linking Exeter and Crediton with Hatherleigh, Okehampton, Chulmleigh, Torrington, Bideford and Barnstaple from October 31.

New rural two-hourly routes 315 (Exeter-Bideford-Barnstaple) and 345 (Exeter-Hatherleigh-Okehampton) and hourly route 377 (Exeter-Chulmleigh) combine to half-hourly Exeter-Crediton. They restore old route numbers and replace Stagecoach routes 5B, 5A and 5C with no change to frequencies.

Stagecoach now has no direct Exeter-North Devon services but retains three route 5 peak weekday single projections from Hatherleigh, Winkleigh and Chulmleigh, the former timed two-three minutes ahead of a 345 service.
