Founded: 1986 by John Cherry, former Merseyside PTE driver at Prince Alfred Road (Liverpool) with Bedford YMT/ Willowbrook Spacecar coach OYU 546P, adding two Leyland Leopards later that year. Operated double-deckers on Liverpool services 57 (Netherton- Bootle) and 61B (Black Bull-Old Swan) from 1989 and won contract for 101 (Vauxhall Circular) 1990 with single-deckers. Acquired ABC Coaches from CMT Buses in 1998 and expanded to Wirral in 1999 by acquiring the Helms of Eastham that was founded 1962. Bus operation started in Cheshire 2007, with service 35 to Guilden Sutton. Son James manages Maghull operations.
Where does it operate?: Services 41/A/B (Chester-Whitchurch), 40 (Chester Rail Link), 272 (Ellesmere Port-Neston). Four Wirral school services and 10 to Merchant Taylors School from Maghull. Private hires.
