Founded: 1937, when Moylgrove-based haulier William Goronwy Richards operated 14-seat vans to construction site at Royal Naval Armaments Depot Trecwn, near Fishguard. First true bus, utility Bedford OWB/Duple FDE 623, new April 1943. Sons Reggie and Idris then joined business, forming the Richards Brothers company. Grandsons Marteine, Malcolm and Nigel Richards run it today.

Stage carriage work started 1958 when acquired Owen Williams of Cardigan and routes to Aberporth, Gwbert and Ferwig. Took over Fishguard-St. Davids and other services when Western Welsh quit area 1971.
