COACH & BUS UK

A driverless Alexander Dennis Enviro200, an electric bus from Belarus and the launch of a multi-operator app are among the highlights of this year’s show at the National Exhibition Centre on 2 and 3 October

Over 350 exhibitors have booked space to attend this year’s Coach & Bus UK show in Hall 17 at the National Exhibition centre on 2/3 October, two weeks ahead of the biennial Busworld in Brussels when many manufacturers will stage the global launches of their latest products.

The smaller of the two-yearly UK shows typically attracts fewer bus and coach builders than Euro Bus Expo on even numbered years, and once again the only one of the British manufacturers exhibiting in its own right is market leader Alexander Dennis, which like Irizar UK, Yutong importer Pelican and Van Hool and Temsa importer Arriva Bus & Coach has booked one of the largest stand spaces. Volvo also has a stand, but Scania and Mercedes-Benz are again giving this show a miss.

Alexander Dennis — attending its first show since becoming part of the Canadianowned NFI Group earlier this year — will have three vehicles on its stand J50, but one of the vehicles demonstrated outside may generate some of the greatest visitor interest.
