1968 Bristol RELH-6L with Eastern Coach Works body - OAX 9F

One of ten Bristol RELH chassis with Eastern Coach Works bodies and Leyland O.600 engines new to Chepstow-based RED & White Services in March 1968. They were used on Associated Motorways (later National Travel) express services, tours and excursions. In April 1978 she was transferred to National Welsh and downgraded to a dual-purpose bus, mainly used on limited-stop services to Cardiff and Newport from the South Wales valleys. Withdrawn in July 1983 she was bought for preservation in September that year and has had six owners since then. In 2013 a considerable amount of coachwork repairs were undertaken. In 2019 the Leyland engine was rebuilt.
