Edgware station concerns

Having read Michael Dryhurst’s excellent letter in the August edition of Buses, myself once an Edgware resident 1947-1966 with family ties until the early 2000s, I last visited the town in 2017. Yes, it had changed but nothing to what it may become in the future.

I am somewhat appalled how anyone could imagine the plans by Ballymore with Transport for London and Barnet Council’s possible blessing, will improve lives for residents and others who visit the area.

As regards the public transport situation, currently there are 17 routes that serve the bus station, 11 that terminate (32, 79, 107, 113, 204, 221, 240, 251, 303, 340 and 384), six that pass through (142, 186, 288, 292, 614 and 644). Stand corrected if I have missed any.
