Milestone issue
Congratulations to all at Buses on reaching the significant milestone of 800 issues.
I first discovered the magazine as a 13-year-old, in 1977, with the Marchdated issue, No. 264. That issue contained an article, by Hugh Dougherty, entitled Lough Swilly Bus Services, The Final Years? Well, as it happened, the company struggled on for another 37 years, to April 2014, before succumbing to the demands of the taxman.
