Two central London routes to be withdrawn?

Tower Transit DNH39123 (SN12 ATF), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400H hybrid, operating route 23 in Oxford Street. RATP London United New Routemaster LT90 (LTZ 1090) is following on route 10, which the diverted 23 will partially replace.

Pedestrianisation of Oxford Street may have stalled, but Transport for London is pressing ahead with service changes associated with it (Buses January).

Route 10 (Hammersmith-King’s Cross) will be withdrawn when the Elizabeth Line opens next year, replaced partially by diverting the 23 (Westbourne Park-Aldwych) at Marble Arch to follow the current line of route 10 to Hammersmith.
