Coaches will dominate the Coach & Bus UK show at the NEC this year, while British bus manufacturers will highlight their exporting ambitions at Busworld in Belgium two weeks later, when a Van Hool ExquiCity hybrid bendybus for Belfast should also turn heads

October is shaping up again to be the month of bus and coach exhibitions at home and abroad. It begins modestly at the National Exhibition Centre next to Birmingham Airport on Wednesday and Thursday 4 and 5 October with Coach & Bus UK, the new name for the smaller biennial ‘odd year’ show that used to be called Coach & Bus Live. This is in Halls 17 and 18 towards the outer end of the NEC complex. Two years ago, this two-day show attracted over 6,000 visitors and 219 exhibitors.
