Gains for Go-Ahead and Abellio, new garage for Abellio

Besides hiring 12-year-old Optare Solos from previous operator Arriva, Metroline also has Solo SR YJ67 GEK on loan from Optare for Hampstead Garden Suburb services H2 and H3, equipped with an electronic destination display. Metroline took up the contract on 9 June and has new Solo SRs on order.

Go-Ahead London’s Metrobus operation has won the contracts to operate routes 51 (Woolwich- Orpington) and Orpington circulars R5 and R10 from Stagecoach Selkent. In both cases, vehicles from the current fleet will be used, upgraded to Euro6 emission requirements.
