Public’s support is essential

In December 1945, West Yorkshire Road Car introduced a revised and expanded timetable booklet. An innovation for its time, it included a foreword outlining the changes, principally restoration of late evening and Sunday morning services and some frequency increases. It went on to say that further improvements depended on the availability of labour and materials, which were in short supply. It concluded by expressing the hope that it would not be long ‘before we can give you the service you deserve’.
