From my long experience in the bus industry with Greater Glasgow PTE, Strathclyde PTE, Strathclyde Buses, First Glasgow and finally Strathclyde Partnership for Transport, I can say that politicians of any type and of all parties make the world’s worst transport planners. They react to the few and never consider the needs of the many.
