My Buses magazine popped through the letterbox today and I was pleased to see my article in print. (The Longest Services, Buses March). Thank you for that.
However, I was disappointed that part of the article printed doesn’t make sense. I acknowledge that due to the word count sections would need to be revised or removed but the paragraph beginning ‘Scottish Citylink’ on page 41 then joins part way through another paragraph on page 42, and neither parts make sense. It is interesting that there is a strapline on page 41 “Stagecoach always the innovator etc …” but where this is mentioned in the text of the article it is missing, so again it doesn’t make sense.
The captions too on page 42 are around the wrong way for the Fife Scottish vehicle and the Trathens coach.
Anyway, there is nothing to be done now but it takes something away from the piece if some of it doesn’t make sense when it’s read.
