DTS Publishing, which specialised in low volume print runs of niche market public transport books, has transferred its book stocks and digital reprint rights to MDS Book Sales.
Mike Davis founded DTS in 1991 in order to publish his own books on Hong Kong buses and the business went on to produce nearly 50 titles over the next 26 years, mostly on overseas subjects. Besides the Far East, these have included Ian Manning’s acclaimed surveys of the Portuguese bus scene.
Digital publishing allowed DTS to produce small runs of niche titles economically, almost on demand as customers placed orders.
