Stagecoach has continued to implement changes in top people across its business, including the appointment of a group commercial director, a new regional director for Scotland and a reshuffle of company managing directors.
Marc Turley has taken up the new position of commercial director, responsible for what Stagecoach says will include the customer proposition, marketing, brand, pricing strategy and overall product development. He joined Stagecoach’s currently dormant rail division in 2006 when it was awarded the East Midlands franchise and was with National Express Group for five-and-a-half years before that.
Technical and engineering director Sam Greer is taking on the additional role of regional director for Scotland, succeeding Robert Andrew, who retires in June after 35 years in the industry, 28 of them with Stagecoach. London regional director Paul Lynch is additionally responsible for south Wales, overseen latterly by Andrew, who remains managing director of the Scottish Citylink/Megabus joint venture with ComfortDelGro.
Greer has also worked in the industry for 35 years, 16 of them with Stagecoach, and was regional director for Scotland before, from 2010 to 2016.
