I bring news of 95 elephants and 19 frogs, three of them sponsored by bus operators, which have been installed in statue trails created in three locations from June to September.
The elephants are being used to raise funds for two hospices, all based on Elmer the Patchwork Elephant, 55 of them for St Elizabeth’s in Ipswich and 40 for St Luke’s in Plymouth. The frogs promote Stockport’s Great Leap, a marketing campaign to raise awareness of the regeneration of the Greater Manchester town.
