A smaller than usual number of vehicles was delicensed for the school summer holidays, mainly to meet requirements associated with The Open golf at Royal Portrush in July.
Provisional allocation for Volvo B11RT/ Sunsundegui SC5 C63FL coaches 1100-29 (XUI 2900-29) is Newry (1100-14), Coleraine (1115-7), Foyle (1118-21) and Great Victoria Street (1122-9); 1100-10/5-20/2-4 were observed operating at The Open and some were working Belfast-Newry rail replacement services for four weeks from 27 July.
Volvo, Coventry (dealer) lent Volvo B11R/ Sunsundegui SC7 C53Ft SD15 UWG, Volvo B11R/Jonckheere C53Ft SH15 WYS, SA16 RRL/M, SH15 WYW, SA16 RRJ/K (LSK 495; LSK 824; 2 WR; LSK 501, LSK 820; LSK 821) and Scania K360IB4/Irizar i6 C53Ft YP12 NUH for operation at The Open. They were numbered 5011-8 (in the order shown) for the duration. Ford Transit minibuses on hire included OFZ 3597, RFZ 2088 and ERZ 6206.
Wright StreetDeck HEV96 demonstrator SK18 TKX arrived on 8 July and was allocated fleetnumber 5001 for use at Coleraine.
