The last two buses for the Foyle Metro zeroemission fleet, Wright StreetDeck Electroliners 3618/9 (YUI 3818/9), arrived on September 26 and have a partial green wrap like that applied to some Metro buses in Belfast. Optare Versa V1170 1826/9 (UFZ 1826/9) lost Foyle Metro orange livery for Ulsterbus blue in October.
The active fleet of Scania L94UB/Wright Solar single-deckers reduced to one in October, 2447 (GXI 447) at Ballymena, following the delicensing of 830/42/3/6/7 (GXI 7830 etc) and 2475/7 (HXI 475/7, KEZ 7475/7); 843 was noted in October with Henderson’s Academy, Mallusk, the driver training arm of the local Spar wholesaler with whom it might have replaced similar 727 (HCZ 8727).
Solar 2410 (FXI 410) was withdrawn at the beginning of September and re-registered CYZ 4091 shortly afterwards.
