Optare Solo M925SR 1980/9 (IGZ 7980/9) were received from the Covid-19 emergency float, 1980 seeing service at Larne, Newtownards and Craigavon during April and May, while 1989 was reported working from Newtownabbey in mid-April. Solo M850SL 1933 (CGZ 6313, BXI 333) returned to Metro at the end of April after service at Newtownards.
Float vehicles Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 793/5/6, 806-8 (UCZ 8793/5/6, 88068) and Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 2361 (KFZ 9361) have been returned to Metro following use at Ballymena; 795, 808 and 2361 went back on 21 April, the others around the VE Day bank holiday weekend on 8-10 May, by which time Perspex screens had been fitted in the cabs of several Volvo B7RLE/Alexander Dennis Enviro300 Rural. Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse 2 909/10/22/3 (KFZ 9909/10, LFZ 2922, KFZ 9923) were back with Metro in the following week after their sojourn at Dungannon.
