Founded: 1976 in Wythenshawe by Alan Goodwin as Goodwins Coaches with one Duplebodied Bedford. Relocated to Stockport and moved to Eccles site 1995.
Operated local bus services in southern Greater Manchester from 2010 until Diamond North West acquired that part of business 2017. Re-entered bus market 2020 as Little Gem Bus Company with contracts for Cheshire East Council and Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM); surrendered TfGM work April 2023.
Acquired most assets of Mayne’s Coaches of Warrington from administrator 2022, including Mayne’s Coaches name, some coaches and Clayton depot. Geoff Goodwin left 2017, taking two coaches to form Go G VIP, and founder’s grandson Wesley Goodwin took control.
