Founded: 1984 when Eric Stott started operating in Yorkshire, five years after selling his shares in the family’s other business, Stotts Tours of Oldham. First coach was Ford R1114/Duple Dominant-bodied PRN 586P new 1976 to Aspden, Blackburn. Based initially at car park of Toss o Coin pub in New Mill, from 1986 at Central Garage, Marsden and at present site from 1995. Sons Carl and Mark joined business 1987. Minibus operation started 1995 with tendered service contract to take over Holme Valley services (in Summer Wine country) from Yorkshire Traction. Two Optare Solos introduced low-floor operation December 2007 on Holmfirth services. Worked for National Express since 2008 and Megabus from 2017. Named NatEx small operator of the year 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015, and top operator of the year 2020.

Where does it operate?: Fifteen daytime Monday to Saturday supported routes in Huddersfield, Colne Valley and Holme Valley. Ten registered school and college services, one service chartered directly by a school. National Express services 121 (Manchester-Blackpool), 131 (Huddersfield-Birmingham), 173 (Leeds-Blackpool), 560 (Manchester-London) and 561 (Bradford-London). New Megabus route M62X (Leeds-Liverpool) from late March 2023. Private hire and rail replacement.
