First Glasgow was appointed in October as operator of the official delegate shuttle service for the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26).

This followed a tender process run by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) on behalf of the UK and Scottish governments.

Transport Scotland, SPT and First Glasgow worked closely with the Cabinet office to provide a sustainable, frequent shuttle service for all delegates, operating between Glasgow city centre and the Blue and Green zones on the event campus.

The Blue Zone, a United Nations-managed space hosting the negotiations, was located at the SSE Hydro and Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre site, while the Green Zone, a public exhibition and events area with over 100 exhibitors was located at the Glasgow Science Centre on the opposite bank of the River Clyde.
