COMMENT
For the first time in more than two decades, there is a different face at the top of the editor’s comment this month. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has welcomed me into the role of editor at Buses. The volume of supportive messages I have received since the news was announced last issue has been truly humbling.
I am under no doubt that Alan will be a hard act to follow. Since he has been such a long-serving editor, I asked if he would like to write a retrospective piece about his time at the magazine. It is clear from reading through the excellent article he produced, which you will find on page 34 in this issue, that he has lived and breathed Buses for most of his life. Alan is still very much involved in the production of the magazine, and I will do my utmost to keep producing the content you know and love to the standard you expect.
