New to Eastern National in 1981. 1of a diverted Southdown order. served at Hadleigh,Basildon & Braintree Depots. Also saw service on LRT services from Walthamstow Depot. Withdrawn by Thamesway 7/92. Passed to Badgerline in Bristol as 5562. Remained with Badgerline into First ownership until 9/00. Sold to Abus of Bristol via dealer 8/02. Operated by Abus on various routes around the Bristol area, including Glastonbury shuttle work. Purchased by current owner 7/19 & returned back to Essex, after over 25 years away. Currently in as withdrawn condition, but mechanical work has been done. Recently passed new MOT. It is hoped to return 3116 to an EN livery in the near future.
